A festival of goals

“All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”, goes the English adage. Indeed, the seminarians do a lot of work but at the same time do not leave out their recreational and sporting activities dormant. Saturdays normally, there are various sporting activities, ranging from jogging to table tennis, handball, volleyball and most importantly soccer.

Saturday 18 February, a serious and an interesting match was played between the seminarians and the priests and seminarians from the Angola community and Sedes Sapientiae College. It was indeed a match flowing with goals. From the onset, the Angolan community took the lead up till the second half, Sedes Sapientiae players rose to the challenge with a plus of intensity. By the way, it can be said that the goalkeepers made the match even more friendly and brotherly, contributing to the conspicuous number of goals. The final results 7 to 5 to Sedes Sapientiae.
