In the course of September, our practical lesson in liturgy and pastoral continued. In addition to the lessons given by our formators on topics useful for pastoral care, we had other several distinguished guests in the second week who treated similar important themes. Visiting us on Tuesday 11th, Professor Alberto Tagliaferri took us through the history of Rome, from its foundation to the Christian era. After lunch, we had a meeting with Professor Jorge Milán, who spoke to us about audiovisual language, specifically about documentaries. In the afternoon of that same day, we hosted Professor Maria Cinque who explained why the soft skills, known in Italian as transversal skills are important. Continuing our visits in the city of Rome on Thursday 13, the Dominican fathers of the convent of Santa Maria sopra Minerva guided us to discover the treasures of art and faith, including the remains of St. Catherine Siena kept in the basilica. Finally, on Friday 14, we spent the afternoon with Fr. Carlo de Marchi who helped us to understand how to talk about the meaning of life and the vocation of young people.
