What a great celebration!

With great joy and a true spirit of fraternity, we celebrated, on Saturday, April 18, together with the birthdays of this month, the fortieth birthday of our formator, Fr. James, originally from Kenya, who for some years has been sharing with us his experience of life and ministry. It was a moment of joy and a real opportunity to celebrate the gift of life: a good barbecue, music, songs, performances, among others. Celebrating one more year of life is a very beautiful occasion to give thanks to God, and what better way than to do so in a spirit of fraternity. Even greater is the richness when this community is made up of people coming from such different countries. It is worth noting the great commitment of everyone in organizing this day of celebration: from the rector, leading the tasty barbecue together with some seminarians; to those who humorously reproduced Fr. James in his university lectures as a professor of Sacred Scripture.
In conclusion, everything represented a beautiful opportunity to laugh, give thanks, share and, above all, to unite in thanksgiving to God for this new year of life that the Lord has given to our dear formator and to several seminarians. Thank you, Fr. James, for everything you share with us, both in our College and at the University. Thank you, Father James, for one more year of life with us. It is also appropriate and right to thank all those who contributed to the organization of this event: priests, sisters, refectory staff, seminarians… thank you for making this pleasant celebration possible.
