On May 5, 2025, the seminary had the honor of welcoming Cynthia Molano Serna, an activist from Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. Known for her groundbreaking work in advocating for the inclusion of people of short stature, Cynthia made a lasting impression on all who met her.

After supper, a reunion was held where Cynthia had the opportunity to interact with the seminarians. She shared her views on inclusion, human rights, and the importance of accessibility for all, regardless of physical differences. Her message of empowerment and diversity resonated deeply with the seminarians, inspiring them to think critically about justice and equality.

Cynthia’s life journey is remarkable. She was the first person of short stature to be elected to the Mexican Congress and is the founder of the Mexican Federation for People of Short Stature. In addition to her political career, she is a mother, radio and television announcer, and public speaker. Recognized by Forbes as one of the 100 most powerful and influential women in Mexico, Cynthia continues to be a powerful advocate for inclusivity and human rights.
