On Sunday, March 9, the Jubilee of Volunteers was marked by a solemn Mass in St. Peter’s Square, presided over by Cardinal Michael Czerny, S.J., Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development. During the celebration, Cardinal Czerny delivered the homily prepared by Pope Francis, emphasizing the vital role of volunteers in bringing hope and compassion to the world.
The seminarians of Sedes Sapientiae Seminary were honored to contribute to this significant event by assisting in the liturgical service. This occasion celebrated the selfless efforts of volunteers around the world in the service of their brothers and sisters. For us, it was an honour to have been able to participate with our small contribution.
