The annual program of Sedes College starts with the September course which is aimed at teaching the seminarians, the practical aspects of theology and liturgy. However, the September course is punctuated by some other discussions and presentations.
One of such had this year is a discussion on cinematography anchored by Rev. Prof. Sergio Tapia. The title of this interesting discussion was “The task of the Spectator.” In this presentation which the don Sergio carried out with nicely projected slides, he mentioned the important aspects of the cinema and what the spectator should be looking out for while seeing a movie.
Also, he mentioned the variegated dynamics found in movies and movie industries. This, he elaborated with few scenes of some movies. With questions from the seminarians the session was even more interactive.
