On Sunday, January 12th, the feast of the Baptism of the Lord, our college was blessed by the return of Fr. Van Vien Tran from the Archdiocese of Hanoi, Vietnam. Celebrating the Eucharist with us, he expressed profound gratitude for the spiritual formation he received here, which continues to shape his ministry. His presence reminded us of the enduring bond between past and present, as he shared how this foundation has guided him in his vocation as a priest.

In his homily, Fr. Vien brought our hearts to life with his reflections on the grace of baptism and the joy of serving God. Drawing from his experiences, he shared powerful testimonies of lives renewed by faith and transformed by God’s love. His words resonated deeply, inviting us all to cherish the grace of being God’s children and to live with gratitude and devotion.

After the Mass, the atmosphere was alive with shared memories and joy as Fr. Vien joined us for breakfast. His visit was more than a reunion. It was a reminder of the lasting impact of the seminary years.
