The Harvest is Indeed Great!

Glory to God who has never failed to answer the prayer of his beloved people of sending labourers into harvest. On Sunday, 17 October, the faces of the members of Sedes family were filled with smiles and joy as three seminarians of Sedes were raised to the diaconate order by His Excellency, Most. Rev. Archbishop Angelo Vincenzo Zani, Secretary of the Congregation for Catholic Education.

The event took place at the Basilica of Saint Apollinare, Rome. The New deacons are Rev. Benjamin Lewis from Diocese of Karonga, Malawi, Petro Antony Chacha from Archdiocese of Mwanza, Tanzania and Emmanuel Marfo from Archdiocese of Kumasi, Ghana.

The ordination mass had in attendance many priest, many of whom are alumni of Sedes; the priests and seminarians of Sedes and many other friends of the ordinands who came to witness and share in their joy. After the mass, there was a grand reception party at the College. May God grant the new deacons the grace to carry out properly and fruitfully, their new office of service.
