The classic one...

As usual, some seminarians of Sedes embarked on the classic excursion to the famous Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo. This excursion is termed special because it was mainly embarked on with the bicycles led by Fr. Eduardo Baura, a very expert cyclist. The cyclists which were the majority rode through the famous ‘Via Appia Antica’.

This Papal Palace of Castel Gandolfo afforded extraterritorial status as one of the properties of the Holy See, served for centuries as a summer residence and vacation retreat for the Pope until October 2016 when it was made a museum.

During this excursion, there was also an interesting stopover at the beautiful lake, Albano were the participants took lunch and prayed the rosary. This excursion was really fun for the participants who had an opportunity, some for the first time to know the landscape of this beautiful lake and behold also the great Apostolic palace.
