On the 30th of October until the 16th of November, the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross organized an intensive course on Christian theology in Latin America. The course was given by Prof. Luis MartÃnez Ferrer, Rev. Prof. Josep Ignasi Saranyana and Rev. Prof. Mariano Fazio.
Some seminarians of our college attended the said course, about the original theological themes of Latin America: from the theology of the firts Latin American councils to the theology and lines of action of the General Conferences of the Latin American and Caribbean Episcopate.
We are sure that knowing in a detailed way the process of reception and diffusion of the Gospel in Latin America for more than 500 years of faith, would provide tools for the participants so that, learning from the past, they could build a better future for the Catholic Church.
