At Vespers on 8 December, the seminarians from Nicaragua honoured the Immaculate Virgin Mary, to whom they have enormous devotion in the Central American region, with some typical songs. A few days later, on the 12th, early in the morning, the College church was filled with the joyful notes of songs that the seminarians, led by Mexicans, addressed to the Virgin of Guadalupe. As a sign of the filial love that binds us to Our Lady, we also brought a reproduction of the famous image adorned with beautiful flowers to the church. To complete the day in the best possible way was the Holy Mass in honour of the Virgin presided over by Pope Francis in St Peter's Basilica, in which many seminarians participated, some of them also helping with the liturgical service.
