Shepherds among us

The fourth week of January was an extraordinary and joyous time for our college community as we had the privilege of hosting three esteemed bishops: Bishop Martin Anwel Mtumbuka, of the Diocese of Karonga, Malawi; Bishop Joseph Eciru Oliach, of the Diocese of Soroti, Uganda; and Archbishop Maurice Muhatia Makumba, of Kisumu, Kenya. Their visit served as a profound reminder of the unity of the Church and the richness of our shared faith.

The bishops spent time with us during lunch, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Their openness and genuine interest in our lives made the encounter both memorable and uplifting. After lunch, they shared their wisdom with us, offering valuable advice rooted in their experiences. Their words inspired us to embrace our faith wholeheartedly and to live our vocations with renewed commitment and purpose.

As their visit came to an end, the bishops imparted their blessings, leaving us spiritually enriched and deeply motivated. Their encouragement will continue to inspire us as we move forward in our faith journeys. We are very grateful for this encounter and pray that their ministries continue to bear fruit in the service of God and His people.
