September Course

During the month of September, the seminarians participated in various courses organized by the seminary. The first-year seminarians attended Italian courses, some of the third-year seminarians studied German, while those in the second and fourth years participated in formation courses.
For the first-year seminarians, the Italian courses served as an introduction to a new language and culture, helping them prepare for university life in the new academic year. For some of the third-year seminarians, the study of German provided an important opportunity to learn a language that may be useful in their future theological studies.
Meanwhile, through various meetings and lectures, the formation courses for the second- and fourth-year seminarians allowed them to explore important topics related to priestly formation, particularly the human and pastoral dimensions of the priesthood. The courses also provided opportunities for cultural and academic enrichment, including guided visits to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Vatican, and the surrounding areas, following the theme “The Rome of the Popes.”
