Seminary Pastoral Encounter

On 7 February 2026, our seminary community had the privilege of welcoming Don Fulgencio Espa, a parish priest of Vallecas in the Archdiocese of Madrid. He shared lunch with us and generously offered his time for a meaningful encounter.

During his visit, he spoke about his pastoral experience as a parish priest, reflecting on both the joys and the challenges of pastoral ministry. Drawing from his rich experience in parish life, he highlighted the importance of closeness to the people, perseverance in moments of difficulty, and fidelity to God and to one’s vocation. His testimony was both inspiring and encouraging, especially for us as seminarians preparing for future pastoral responsibilities.

We are grateful for his presence among us and for the wisdom he shared. We look forward with joy to welcoming Don Fulgencio again in April, when he will return as the animator and guide of our annual retreat.
