Sedes Guest of September

On Thursday, 24 September, we joyfully began the first episode of Sedes Guest of this academic year, during which we had the honor of welcoming Fr. Cristóbal Fones, S.J., a Chilean Jesuit priest and Director of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network. He is also known as a singer and composer of Catholic music, especially in the Spanish-speaking world.
During the gathering, Fr. Cristóbal shared with us the story of his vocation, his missionary experience, and his musical journey. He then spoke to us about the Network, the realities he encounters in his ministry, and, above all, the importance of prayer as an apostolate.
At the end of the gathering, he gave us a special moment by singing one of his most beautiful and moving songs, “Señor, ¿a quién iremos?” (“Lord, to whom shall we go?”).
