On the 19th of February we had another inspiring session of Sedes Guest where we had the honour of welcoming Constanza Mattera as our special guest. Constanza, a member of the Congregazione Sacra Famiglia d'Urgell, shared her experiences and insights with the seminary community.
Since 2017, Constanza has been part of a pastoral community in Rome that focuses on two main missions: supporting children and women from the roma community and accompanying persons who are victims of sexual exploitation.
The pastoral team unit for the last mission is composed of Marco and Alberto, Comboni Missionaries, Mayra and Daniela, Sisters of the Beatitudes, Gaia and Roberto, lay people, and Irma and Constanza. They work tirelessly to make a positive impact. The community is part of the Diocese of Rome's anti-trafficking coordination, demonstrating its commitment to fighting this critical issue.
Constanza's presence at the seminary was a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, empathy and service to others. Her selfless work and dedication to helping vulnerable populations inspired the seminary community and fostered a deeper understanding of the value of serving others.
