Rome: To Discover Her, You Must Get Lost

Rome feeds curiosity and ignites the desire to explore her ever more deeply. She is a city of breathtaking beauty — one that surpasses anything books or stories could ever fully capture. Beyond her iconic landmarks, silent witnesses to Rome's enduring influence on the civilization and culture of the world, the city is woven together by a tapestry of streets, squares, hills and fountains that are inseparable from her extraordinary historical and cultural heritage.

This is the spirit that animates into the story of Gian Marco D'Eusebi — Roman artist, scholar, and deep connoisseur of the city's history and soul, as well as a social media influencer — whom we hosted as the Sedes Guest of Thursday, 23rd April 2026. Since 2021, Gian Marco has devoted himself to sharing the historical and cultural beauty of Rome, through writings, videos and stories across social media.

During our afternoon gathering, he offered us a glimpse into his passion, guiding us through the history of the Eternal City — from the monarchical age to the Republic, from the grandeur of the Empire to the present Rome. A rich and captivating journey that deepened our understanding of the city and, above all, rekindled in each of us the flame of wanting to discover her further — through our famous cultural programme, "Imparare Roma."
