After series of ordinations in the Marian month of October, we also witnessed the Day of All Saints, 1st November 2018 when fifteen of our brother seminarians were instituted as acolytes. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by S. E. Mons. Filippo Iannone, O. Carm (Presidente del Pontificio Consiglio per i Testi Legislativi) begun at 10:30am at the Basilica of St. Apollinare with a good number of people present.

Reflecting on the life of holiness, His Excellency said: “Losing ourselves to love is what makes us happy, and that constancy is a necessity on the road to holiness”. Particularly to the new Acolytes, he encouraged that they develop a strict relationship with the Eucharist and yearn to exercise their ministry with enthusiasm and a spirit of service.

We wish our brothers well and pray that the will of God may actively be manifested in their lives.
