On the footsteps of the Apostles

Being at the centre of the Catholic Church, we are privileged to have many bishops pass through our college, especially the ordinary of our seminarians. The month of September was not an exception as we had some bishops who came around to visit the college. Among them, was His excellency, Msgr. Jean Mbarga, Archbishop of Yaoundé, Cameroun, who came to Rome together with the bishops of Cameroun on the visit ad limina apostolorum. He is the Archbishop of one of our seminarians, Michel Atanga who is in his final year of theological studies.

Also, on 12 September we were honoured by the presence of the Auxiliary Bishop of Monterrey Archdiocese, Mexico, His excellency, Msgr. Carlos Alberto Santos Garcia, who visited Rome to participate in the course of formation for new bishops. One of our seminarians, Alberto Estrada is a seminarian of the Archdiocese of Monterrey.

Furthermore, on the 11th of September, we had in our midst the Auxiliary Bishop of Caracas, Venezuela, His excellency, Msgr. Carlos Márquez, who was once a spiritual director of one of our seminarians, Angel Alberto Cepeda Perez. He visited Rome to participate also in the course organized for new bishops. The college is always happy to have these bishops in our midst, whose cherished presence and words serve as a great source of encouragement to both the priests and the seminarians.
