Mons.Visvaldas Kulbokas, an ex alumnus of our College, has been appointed by Pope Francis as apostolic nuncio to Ukraine, also receiving the titular see of Martana, with the dignity of archbishop.
The newly appointed nuncio to Ukraine worked from 2012 to 2020 in the Second Section for Relations with States, and one of his main tasks was relations with the country where he now represents the Holy Father.
On the feast of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State, ordained him a bishop in St. Stanislaus Cathedral in Vilnius, Lithuania.
