During the Solemnity of All Saints 19 seminarians of our College were instituted as acolytes.
During his homily, Bishop Juan Ignacio Arrieta, Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, recalled the profound meaning of the closeness to the altar that being an acolyte implies, within the framework of the journey towards the priesthood.
After the celebration, which took place in the Basilica of St. Apollinaris, the new acolytes shared their joy during refreshments with the community of Sedes Sapientiae as well as with some family members and guests, mostly from their dioceses.
Congratulations to the new acolytes!
