Religious life is integrated into the pastoral life of many different places. There are many locations in which communities of sisters, together with the priests, develop catechesis, charity and many other and varied apostolic initiatives... But what do the religious sisters expect from the priests?
Mother Rebecca, superior of the Missionaries of Divine Revelation, answered this question during one of the afternoons of our September course. She told us that they too feel a vocation to the spiritual motherhood of seminarians and priests. Through this "motherhood" they participate in the universal motherhood of the Virgin Mary, who as mother of the High and Eternal Priest, is also mother of all priests of all times.
They ask God that there may never be a lack of priests who are holy and faithful to their own identity.
