At the end of September, the Sedes Sapientae seminarians had their annual retreat at Belvedere, a house in a quiet residential area of Rome. Fr José Ángel Lombo, Professor of Philosophy in the PUSC, was the preacher of the meditations, as well as always available to talk to the participants or hear their confessions.
“In the midst of all our activities we often neglect the essential: the spiritual life, our relationship with God. Let us stop and pray!” (Pope Francis, 9 March 2018). These days of retreat, in an atmosphere of peace, helped us to see in new lights, in God's presence, how our Christian life is going and to make a deeper examination of conscience to discover in what we can improve. “Recharged” with hope, we entrust ourselves to Our Lady so that she may continue to accompany us on our vocational journey.
