The first ordination of July was celebrated in Same (Tanzania), where former Sedes Sapientiae alumnus Anthony Edes Ishika received the priesthood on the 7th.
Two days later, on 9 July, it was a great celebration for the "Sedes family", as on that day five former students of our College received holy orders. Two of them were ordained priests: Emmanuel Marfo in the archdiocese of Kumasi (Ghana) and Petro Chacha in the archdiocese of Mwanza (Tanzania). The other three received diaconal ordination: Gabriel Gyansah, also in Kumasi (Ghana), and Pedro Paulo Pereira and João Funari in the archdiocese of São Paulo (Brazil). However, the ordinations in July did not end there. Moving from Africa to America, we can report the diaconal ordination of Orlando Alvarado, which took place on 25 July in Ciudad Victoria (Mexico).
