Even more extraordinary than Jules Verne's journey to the center of the earth, and not only imaginary but real, is the guided tour that retraces the Vatican excavations. Like last year, in 2020, about twenty seminarians, distributed in two groups, were able to enter this sacred place. The excavations of the necropolis were carried out during the pontificate of Pope Pius XII, and it is there that the tomb of Peter was found. Being able to pray in front of it was a truly unforgettable experience.
