In Greccio, 800 years later

The Pope's catechesis , recalling the significance of the first time that Saint Francis of Assisi created a living nativity scene in Greccio, in 1223, invited people to make a pilgrimage to that sanctuary, located in a mountainous area one hundred kilometers from Rome. No sooner said than done, on Friday 22 December an expedition of 18 people from Sedes headed there, all new seminarians plus Don Martín and Don Eduardo. The experience was fantastic: we enjoyed a sunny day and, under the blue sky, we traveled the almost ten kilometers that separate the town of Greccio from the Sanctuary. Once there we were able to visit it, see the nativity scene exhibition and pray in the chapel where St. Francis was.
