From Mexico and Argentina

The arrival of his bishop is a joy for the seminarian as he is the proper superior and curator of his vocation. In addition, for the seminary community it is a time to hear the experience of episcopal ministry in different parts of the world and to understand what the bishops expect from the seminarians.

The auxiliary bishop of Puebla, in Mexico, Msgr. Francisco Javier Martínez Castillo, visited the seminary on Friday, 19 April. Moisés and Alfredo are two seminarians from this archdiocese. It is the oldest catholic diocese in Mexico. It was established on october 13, 1525 as the "Diocese of Tlaxcala.

On tuesday 23 april, Msgr. Hugo Nicolás Barbaro of the diocese of San Roque de Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña, Argentina, visited the seminary. His diocese is located in the province of Chaco, Argentina. Federico and Agustín are two seminarians from the diocese in Sedes Sapientiae.

We thank the two bishops for their words, encouraging us to make the best possible use of this time of formation in the Eternal City.
