On 6th September, our college had the privilege of welcoming Sr. Shiromi Weragoda FMM, a Sri Lankan religious sister currently serving in the Vatican Museums’ tapestry and textile restoration laboratories. Her visit was both inspiring and enlightening.
Sr. Shiromi shared her spiritual journey from Buddhism to Christianity, detailing her early life as a Buddhist and her eventual baptism at the age of 21. She entered religious life at 25, drawn by a profound inner calling.
Her testimony was a powerful witness to the search for truth and spiritual fulfillment. We were especially moved by her openness, humility, and dedication to her vocation. Her visit left a lasting impression, encouraging us all to reflect more deeply on our own faith journeys.
