Joy in India and Ecuador

We are happy to share with you the news of the ordination of some companions who were formed in our seminary.

On May 04, Rev. Jeril Kurisingal of the Archdiocese of Eranakulam-Ankamali of the Syro-Malabar rite in India was ordained a priest. The ordination was presided over by Mons. Mar Antony Kariyil, Vicar of the Major Archbishop for the Archeparchy of Ernakulam-Angamaly. Rev. Jeril also celebrated his first Holy Qurbana, that is, his first Mass in the Syro-Malabar rite, in the company of family and friends.

Rev. Luis David Zambrano, of the Archdiocese of Guayaquil in Ecuador, was ordained a deacon by Mons. Luis Gerardo Cabrera Herrera, Archbishop of Guayaquil, on May 7. The bells of the Metropolitan Cathedral announced the joy of 2 new priests and 3 deacons, including Luis.

May the Risen Lord, who wanted to reveal Himself to His Church as the Good Shepherd, grant them all the graces they need to be a transparent image of Christ before God's Holy People.

Congratulations to the newly ordained!
