Faith, Gratitude, and Formation: An Encounter with Bishop Klaus Küng

What an immense joy to walk along a shepherd of the Church! This was our experience when Bishop Klaus Küng visited us on Monday, 2 March, and Sunday, 8 March 2026. Bishop Küng is currently the bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Sankt Pölten in Austria, following his official retirement in 2018.

During his visit, Bishop Küng took part in several activities with our community, including a memorable luncheon during which he shared stories about Christian life in Austria. Drawing from his vast experience—over 50 years of priesthood and more than 30 years as a bishop—he offered us an inspiring and encouraging conversation as for a father to his beloved sons. He reminded us to be grateful to God for His immense graces, to remain faithful to our vocation, and to make the most of every opportunity to form ourselves well during our time here in Rome.
