On September 19th, students from Colegio Sedes Sapientiae were warmly welcomed by Fr. Moise at the Basilica of St. Bartholomew on Tiber Island. Within its walls, they discovered the Memorial of the New Martyrs of the 20th and 21st centuries, curated by the Community of Sant’Egidio. This encounter offered a powerful reflection on faith, sacrifice, and the enduring witness of those who gave their lives for Christ.
Just a few days later, on September 23rd, the group explored the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Guided by Prof. Javier Domingo, expert in Christian archaeology, and Prof. Eduardo Baura, they journeyed through the roots of Christian heritage. It was a day filled with insight, inspiration, and a deeper connection to history and belief.
