Some of us seminarians had the opportunity to share with the parish of "Santa Maria del Popolo" the celebration of Easter 2021.
Respecting the sanitary measures, we joined the missionary team led by don Mattia Murra, parish priest, and some other priests, seminarians and nuns who worked together so that the celebration of the central mysteries of our faith could be, at the same time, an opportunity for catechesis and pastoral work.
In Surbo, the faithful come on the Tuesday after Easter to ask for the intercession of Our Lady of Loreto. This local feast is prepared through various Marian devotions. Together with the people of Surbo, we ask Our Lady Lauretana that our presence in this parish of the Archdiocese of Lecce may bear fruit, as well as her intercession for the pandemic to end soon.
