“Do Not Be Afraid to Dream Big”

On 24 February 2026, at College Sedes Sapientiae, a new session of the Sedes Guest program took place featuring Rigivan Ganeshamoorthy, an Italian Paralympic athlete born in Rome in 1999. Gold medalist in discus throw at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, where he also broke the world record, Ganeshamoorthy shared with students his powerful testimony of commitment, perseverance, and confidence.

During the meeting, he encouraged those present not to be discouraged by difficulties and to transform challenges into opportunities for growth. Through the story of his athletic and personal journey, he highlighted the importance of discipline, determination, and the support he received along the way, reminding everyone that great achievements are the result of dreams pursued with perseverance and courage.
