Days of peace and quiet

Half of the Sedes Sapientiae seminarians had their annual retreat at the end of September at Castelromano, a house with a large garden located in Castel Gandolfo. The silent atmosphere was favourable to prayer and self-examination. Fr Michele Tressino, diocesan priest of Verona and parish priest of Bevilacqua, in that Italian province, preached the meditations. Although he is still a young priest, he shared his already extensive pastoral experience and guided us, following the pages of the Gospel, through the different moments of Jesus' life. His parishioners committed themselves to pray for the participants in the retreat course with a time of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament every day: we thank them wholeheartedly.
