On 15th February, our dear brother Eugenio Epomba was ordained a deacon in the Archdiocese of Huambo, Angola. The ordination took place at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, Huambo, with Msgr. Zeferino Zeca Martins, SVD, officiating the ceremony.
After completing five years in the minor and propaedeutic seminaries, Eugenio went on to study philosophy for three years at Christ the King Major Seminary in Angola. Since 2020, he has been part of our college community. He has finished his studies in Theology last year.
Rev. Eugenio’s ordination is a moment of great joy not only for the Archdiocese of Huambo but also for our college community. Huambo is one of the most significant dioceses in Angola, it follows the Latin Rite and is a home to around 55 parishes, 142 priests, and 196 seminarians. As we celebrate Rev. Eugenio’s ordination, we offer our prayers and support as he embarks on this new chapter in his ministry.
