Christmas with the Pope

The Christmas holidays gave us the opportunity to participate in the Pope's general audience which took place on Wednesday 20 December in the Paul VI Hall. In addition to praying for the Roman Pontiff and expressing our closeness to him, we were able to listen to his catechesis, which on this occasion concerned Christmas and more specifically the Greccio Nativity Scene, as a school of sobriety and joy . In fact, 800 years have passed since Saint Francis of Assisi created the first living nativity scene in that town, located in the mountains about 100 km from Rome.
