Like every year, as Christmas approached, and before dispersing throughout Italy to help in the pastoral work of numerous parishes and assistance centres, we experienced a warm and family Christmas celebration in the College. In the afternoon, before Vespers, the rector blessed the nativity scene, which some seminarians had prepared with great love, and we sang some Christmas carols. After the evening prayer, Christmas lunch was eaten, served by second year students dressed appropriately for the occasion. Then we attended the Christmas-themed theater show, which, as is tradition, was staged by third-year Theology students. In addition to this central performance, other groups sang various songs.
