On Saturday 19 October, we received in our seminary, as every year, the pleasant visit of the benefactors of CARF: Centro Académico Romano Fundación. This is the name of the Spanish entity which, since 1989, has enabled hundreds of seminarians and priests from all over the world to be trained in the ecclesiastical faculties of the University of Navarra and the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome.
Their stay at our College began with Holy Mass, concelebrated by the rector and two other formators. Afterwards we took a souvenir photo, as is traditional, and shared lunch. After lunch, and after a short visit to the Blessed Sacrament, we gathered in the large living room, where we listened to the testimony of two seminarians - Arturo from Mexico and Shan from Pakistan - and also enjoyed a fantastic song in Swahili and another in Spanish.
During their stay in Rome, the CARF benefactors also had the opportunity to visit the University of the Holy Cross, the Tiberine Priestly College and the Vatican Museums, as well as to participate in the Audience and Angelus with the Pope.
