The monthly retreat for Advent on December 13 and 14 had an exceptional preacher. In fact, he was our guest H.Em. Cardinal Angelo Amato S.D.B., Prefect Emeritus of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. During the time of the retreat, he held two meditations with which he encouraged us to live the time of Advent in greater depth and to prepare ourselves for Christmas. Certainly there were many references to the lives of various saints that enriched the meditations. The Cardinal also wanted to spend some time with us, stopping for a moment at the meeting and sharing in a very familiar atmosphere during which he answered all our questions, in particular by telling us many aspects of the life of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints that he has guided for so many years.
