Back from their different places of pastoral experience and vacation, our seminarians were very happy to return the fields of play on Saturday, 2 September. While fans of basketball and volleyball met themselves in the Roma Uno Sports Centre, the older seminarians who are lovers of round leather game were happy to see once again the football pitch. For the newly arrived seminarians, it was really an amazing experience beholding the pitch for the first time.
The football match was really an interesting and intense spectacle that ended 5:3 in favour of the team captained by Fr. James Mwaura, a formator in our college and a professor of Biblical Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. During the football match, some new talents were also discovered among the newly arrived seminarians. These moments of sport form an important part of the formation program of the college that aims at the integral formation of the seminarians.
