A Time of Renewal and Spiritual Deepening

A group of seminarians of our college concluded its annual retreat in Ariccia, a privileged time of silence and spiritual renewal for all seminarians. This year’s retreat was preached by Fr. Fulgencio Espa, who offered a series of profound reflections on the heart of Christian spirituality. Through meditations rooted in Scripture and the tradition of the Church, he invited the seminarians to rediscover the primacy of prayer, interior freedom, and the daily openness to God’s grace that shapes authentic priestly formation.

Moments of Eucharistic adoration, communal liturgy, and personal reflection created an atmosphere of recollection that allowed each seminarian to step back from the rhythm of academic life and listen anew to the voice of the Lord. Many described the retreat as a rejuvenating experience, one that rekindled their desire for holiness and strengthened their sense of mission.
