On Sunday, March 9th, eight seminarians from Sedes Sapientiae, led by Don Eduardo Baura, embarked on a cultural and spiritual journey to the city of Perugia. Their visit began with an exploration of the historic Basilica and Abbey of San Pietro, where they admired stunning works of art and painted masterpieces that adorned the sacred walls. The seminarians were immersed in the rich history of the site, reflecting on its religious significance and the artistic heritage that has flourished there for centuries. The group continued their tour at the Galleria Nazionale dell'Umbria, a renowned museum that houses some of the region's most important art forms, including iconic Renaissance pieces that are a testament to the region's cultural wealth.

The day's itinerary also took the seminarians to the Chiesa di San Michele Arcangelo, a striking example of Romanesque architecture, and the majestic Cathedral of San Lorenzo, where they marveled at its intricate design and spiritual ambiance. Their final stop was the University for Stranieri, a vibrant academic institution dedicated to the study of languages and culture. Throughout the visit, the seminarians were deeply moved by the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Perugia, which provided a deeper understanding of both the local history and the wider Christian tradition.
