On Tuesday, September 4, we celebrated the votive Mass of the Holy Spirit to start the new year of formation in the College. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by S.E. Mons. Gianrico Ruzza, auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Rome. Commenting on the readings that the liturgy proposed to us on that occasion, the bishop invited us to be docile to the motions of the Holy Spirit so as to be holy priests according to the heart of God. He encouraged us to feel at home in the diocese of Rome and take advantage of the many ecclesial experiences that can be made here. His presence for us was a beautiful sign of closeness to the Church in which our College is inserted. Mons. Ruzza encouraged us to pray with so much energy for the Holy Father Francis, an invitation that we welcome with pleasure and that we commit ourselves to live more and more. We thank once again Msgr. Ruzza for the closeness he has once again demonstrated to our College, with much hope to host him again. Once again in the beginning of this New Year, we entrust our journey to the powerful intercession of Mary, the Most Holy Seat of Wisdom.
